Activity Descriptions Cut off

I applied to Harvard as well as the majority of top schools, (Yale, Stanford, Princeton, etc) and after submitting the common application realized that out of my twelve activities, eight of them had a word cut off or was cut off in the middle of a word. I had made a couple other small errors, which I emailed the schools about already, and just now realized of this other error that had occurred. Based on the additional info, awards, short essay, and one point in my email, my first four prominent activities are explained thoroughly. The rest are fine, just a non-integral word or two is cut off.

Mainly I am writing this to see if I am in trouble and if I should worry or not. Would this affect my admissions chance a fair amount?. I am just worried it will look careless to the admissions officers, especially seeing as I had already made another small error or two and informed them about it through email.

Any advice is much appreciated. Thank you!

Relax. It happens to lots of kids and AOs know that there are technical problems, and that it’s not completely your fault. Look up the NYTimes article about technical glitches in the Common App to read a NYU AO’s response

It’s ok you’re in good company:

I read somewhere that they understand this problem and that they don’t hold it against applicants.
