<p>Hi everyone, is it suspicious to adcoms to have an applicant like myself who spends 45 hours a week on extracurriculars for almost 40 weeks a year? One of my ec's is debate, and tournaments take up entire weekends, and orchestra, which takes up a lot of time if you count individual practice as well. Do you think the adcoms will view my hours as an exaggeration?</p>
<p>put down moderate hours, i guess - don't stretch it too far.</p>
<p>i have many friends who do debate and i know it is time consuming, so that' s understandable. orchestra is too, especially with practice and lessons (do you play violin too?).</p>
<p>i didn't count tournaments.</p>
<p>45 is stretching it. 10 hr. tournament leaves 35 hours, and i don't believe you could possibly do 7 hrs/day.</p>
