when does it start? i just saw my schedule and its not that good

how do you have a schedule already when you haven't signed up for classes yet?

add drop starts 23rd.

Some colleges pre-enroll you in core courses that all freshman take.

yeah... i pre-enrolled for like 12:05 courses but they give me the 9:05 equivalent of them!?

its not just that. i signed up for cs 100m they gave me j. i was signed up for chemistry 211 when i wanted physics. can i take 207 instead. i dont feel that guy crane man.

what are you talking about. crane's excellent.

i just saw my schedule (so far) as well - i think i like it. earliest class is 10? w00t haha.

i'm probably going to change math 191 to 192 with ap calc ab (5) credit. is this hard?

and am i missing any other classes besides the freshman writing seminar? is there gym that i have to take or something?

You don't have to take gym (at least not now), but you would sign up for it during orientation if you choose to.

you wont change your math if you're an engineer, you need a 5 on the bc to be able to get out of 191. I think atleast

do you HAVE to take swim gym freshman year?

Nope, but it is highly encouraged.

wait. a 5 on the bc? not the ab?

Yes, a 5 on BC - not on ab. I don't have the link right now, but it's on the engineering list of AP credit

I have been making some schedules on schedulizer and have included gym classes and FWS. I was wondering if it's possible for one to get a schedule exactly like the one they made on that website? Do we have to get our advisor to design our schedule like that?

Also, is it a bad sign if I was only pre-enrolled in Math 191 and Engr 115, but not in Physics or Chemistry? Maybe, my use of AP credits confused them, i don't really know.

your schedule is completely your responsibility. your advisor has nothing to do with it. so if you can get into all the classes you want, then you can have a schedule like the one you made in schedulizer.

Seriously, don't put too much stock in any schedule that you create now. There's a 90% chance that you won't get it. I was an RA last year and you won't believe the stories I could tell you of freshman screaming and some laying in the hall crying at 6:30 am because they couldn't even get into add drop much less get any of the classes that they wanted (at the times that they wanted). Be prepared with several back ups. Add/drop is like a right of passage. If you come out of it with a full schedule then you did a good job.
