Addicted to the Internet

Help! I think I'm addicted to the internet. I often waste time on site like Youtube, Wikipedia, News, CNet, and occasionally even porn (probably worst). My most efficient times are when I don't need a computer to do problems. But, I keep going online when I need to use the computer to turn in assignments or read practice problems...

Anyone experienced this and know what to do?

Get rid of your computer and use the library for all computer-related assignments. It’s the only way.

Or you could just learn self-control, but it’s overrated imo.

This doesn’t necessarily describe an internet addiction. It may be one, but it may very well be basic procrastination and distractability. I mean, I identify with many of the things you mention in your post, but I know that I’m not addicted, I’m just a big procrastinator.

Lol, the internet is a big part of our lives these days, you can’t get away from it. Just learn to deal with it?
