Adding classes before orientation?

My orientation is session 205 7/27, but I'm really anxious to add the classes I've picked out now. I'm getting the feeling that incoming transfers aren't allowed to enroll in classes until the day of their orientation...is that so?

Thanks for any info and hello to anyone else here who is in the same orientation session!

basically, Orientation is when one can possibly add classes… but for those not attending the orientation, they call the office and schedule for the register date(usually kinda late)

so… orientation has the first priority for transfer students.

I didn’t select an orientation and got assigned 7-24, I have been told that transfers are usually stuck with later times for their first semester.

Thanks for the info. I guess I’ll just make some backup schedules in the meantime and hope for the best.

FYI: large classes that are in demand have an ever increasing enrollement cap.

By the morning of my orientation everyone of my classes was full- by the time i had to register there was over 50 spaces avalable and the max had increased from 150 to 200 students. (eventually over 250 enrolled)

this is for VERY popular courses (this was for a math course)

So basically even though it may seem like you are SOL it may not end up being the case .
