I applied to transfer as a math major and most of my EC’s were pretty lame.
Around the end of January, my old high school calculus teacher had to leave the school very very suddenly and they needed a calculus teacher on demand. I ended up going in for a week and teaching, the kids liked me and they ended up keeping me for the rest of the year. This is a small private school where this kind of thing is acceptable, so technically I am a high school Calculus teacher and none of the UC’s know about it. Am I SOL or can I update this info somehow somewhere?
That’s really cool. Hopefully they take that into consideration.
