<p>You can’t amend, update or edit your app after it is submitted to a school. Some schools will accept information about new awards or other late breaking news. You should contact the admissions office directly to ask whether and how they would accept an update. If you do this, keep it very, very short!</p>

<p>Yes, it most certainly does. You submit each Common Application to each college separately, and the information can vary, although there should not be large discrepancies between applications. Of course, if you have received an award on a national level, it goes without saying that you should include this on any Regular Decision applications you submit. </p>
<p>In addition, if this nationally recognized award were to be received well before EA decisions are released, it is perfectly acceptable to send a letter or email to your region’s admissions officer informing his/her of your recent accomplishment.</p>
