Adding People on Facebook After Briefly Meeting Them?

Like after you have met someone at an orientation or something... Would it be weird to add people on facebook? Seeing as you have only met once. Is it weird to seem like you memorized their name, searched facebook and added them as a friend?

No. You are putting too much thought into this.

Nope, not odd at all. People actually even add people they haven’t even met. I agree with the above poster. You’re definitely putting too much thought into this lol.

Only add them if you can gain something from them and outshine them in the long run, while you keep them under the illusion that you are their friend.

Until you make your move and knock him out of the competition. He could be useful in destabilizing people who picked the same major as you, making friends at orientation is good, because now you have academic hit men that can annoy the lives of those majoring in the same thing as you, if you make their lives miserable enough, they could drop out of college and you will have one less person competing with you for the same job.

^ Wow. Somebody’s obsessed with competition.

Naah dude its cool. This gives you the chance to meet them again, because if you don’t get their number the first time chances are you’ll never see them again.
