Additional Essay Word Limit

How important is it that we send in an optional essay close to 4500 characters? For example, I have an essay that I rather like that's around 2700 characters, or 500 words. As of now, it essentially conveys all the information that I want it to convey.

I'm sure that as long as you express what you think is important, it doesn't matter how long it is or if it is even necessary at all.

It's quality, not quantity.
