Additional Info Section

Hello!

I have already applied as a freshman applicant (Hopefully I get in) but one thing is bothering me

So in my county, dual enrollment participation is capped at 67 credits, where an individual cannot pass this limit. In the additional info section of the application, I mentioned how I am VERY close to hitting this limit and it forcing me to only take 2 dual enrollment classes, Calculus 3 and Differential Equations. After I submitted the application, I learned that I can only take 1 dual enrollment class and I chose differential equations. Instead of Calc 3 I am taking AP Micro (My SSAR reflects this change) So my question is…

Even though my additional info section says I am taking Calc 3, will the admissions officer be confused when it is not on my SSAR but AP Micro is? Will this hurt my chances in getting into the University? I emailed them asking if I can change the additional info section and they said I cannot.

In this case, I think they will look at the SSAR first and foremost. As you are suggesting, it would be better if all the information was in alignment, but the admissions people also know that classes get changed and things happen that are out of your control. I believe it would be a real problem if your SSAR said you were taking Calc 3 and then your transcript said otherwise – you don’t send your transcript until after admission. For your own peace of mind, I would suggest calling admissions and telling them of your concern. They may not act on it, but I’m sure they will let you know whether or not it is a significant problem.
