Dropping Dual Enrollment?

Hello all,

I am a high school senior who is currently taking 4 APs and finished two dual enrollment classes last semester. In my UF application, I told them that I would taking 3 more this semester. The way it works is that you have to pay $150 to the college who is offering the class (in this case FIU) and complete the class in order to get college credit. Unfortunately, we can't afford to pay for these 3 Dual Enrollments, so I am just taking the same classes for high school credit. Should I email UF about the change? Do you think my acceptance be revoked if I do so? Thanks.

wont be revoked. you still have to let them know.

This is a tough one. On one hand, you are obligated to tell UF about the change because it is stated in your application.

On the other hand, I ended up dropping out of a DE class last Spring in my senior year but was advised to not say anything. Nothing ever came of it and here I am at UF.

Talk to your High School/DE Counselor for advice.
