Additional Info

<p>Would it be appropriate to put a 500 word essay dealing with a "topic" that didn't fit for the other five essays? It shows a different side of me, and I believe that it augments my application well.</p>

<p>Is this a common practice or should I just leave it blank?</p>

<p>You’re really not suppose to squeeze in another essay in the additional info section. That section is for quick explanations of something you couldn’t explain in the rest of your application, such as your school has weird grading system, special family circumstances, etc.</p>

<p>If you want to show a different side, use one of the actual space for essays. Or perhaps have your teacher do it. Or tell it during your interview and let the interviewer take care of it.</p>
