I received a letter in the mail from Towson asking for my most recent grades from my senior year and any future dates that I plan on taking the ACT/SAT. I wasn't planning on taking either test again because the next time I could would be late in January. TU is my second choice and I feel as though if I don't take either test again, I'll be denied. What are my chances without taking the tests again? I got a 1520 the last time and my GPA is 3.2 but I have a story (if that helps)

Did you apply EA or regular admission? It sounds like they are leaving the door open to address some concerns they have over offering admission. Does your school offer SAT tutoring or other test prep resources that could help you pull your score up? It seems it would be more feasible to increase your test score because senior grades can only marginally impact GPA at this point. (That’s not to say you shouldn’t do your best to finish out the semester with strong grades to submit.)

Yes, I applied EA. I ended up signing up to take the SAT again at the end of this month. My school only offers tutoring for it in the spring so I’m on my own for prepping. Another girl in my school just got accepted to TU. I just hope I can get my SAT score up.
Thanks for your response!
