<p>I am aware that additional letters can be helpful, but only if they provide shiny new and different information. I'm considering asking my school librarian, who knows me really well, to write a letter for me. Is this a good idea or a bad idea? I mean, obviously it doesn't sound as awesome as a letter from a Nobel Prize-winning professor or something, but I do think that she'd be able to say a lot about me. I just don't know if the letter would be offer insights radically different enough to boost my app.</p>
