<p>Did anyone receive the additional money we were supposed to get for SHIP yet? My friend went to the financial aid office the other day and the lady said that they already added it. My financial aid package hasn't increased at all from the original amount (in fact, it actually went down a bit). I'm so aggravated right now. I'm thinking of just paying the $50 late fee to waive out of SHIP.</p>
<p>Also, my Federal Perkins Loan hasn't paid out yet. Did anyone else get theirs?</p>
<p>From what I can tell, my scholarships and grants paid out (and covered my tuition and fees, so I got very little back), but my loans haven’t yet.</p>
<p>I called about the Perkins loan yesterday. I was told “the system is messed up and we have no idea when it will fund. Check back in two weeks.” However, my son’s funded today but it was $150 short. Apparently everyone is having issues so you are not alone. Hang in there. As for the SHIP, my son waived it because we have him in our our health insurance plan. We never heard anything about being reimbursed for the cost of SHIP. Good luck.</p>
<p>On the MyFinAid website, it says that we’ll receive extra money if we choose not to waive out to help cover the cost (under the “My Net Cost” tab). When my friend went to the office, the lady confirmed that we were supposed to receive extra money and that it was given to us already =/.</p>
