<p>For Columbia and Brown University, there is no option for outside recommendations. I have been working with an organization and has been a huge part of my high school life and the organization founder wants to write a recommendation letter for me.I have no doubt that this letter will provide the university a unique part of me that my teachers at school would not know of. Is there any way to send it to these school? Thanks! </p>
<p>Email the admission officers, explain and ask them if they would accept the extra recommendation. If they allow you then go ahead and tell your recommender to email the rec to the office.</p>
