I already have one teacher recommender, and for the second recommender im not sure if I should use my best friend’s letter that she wrote for me for another school or another teacher’s letter. Do a lot of applicants have a peer recommender?? Which would be best for me to submit? I feel like my best friend’s letter would be more unique and have more to say, but I’m not sure if it’s acceptable to submit a peer letter.

Hi. Per the WashU freshman application requirements, it says “teacher evaluation(s)” are required. http://admissions.wustl.edu/apply/Freshman-Student-Admission/Pages/default.aspx
So I would not send the “best friend letter”.
@newjersey17 i already have my required teacher letter, im just not sure what to send for my additional letter.
Here’s what the website says:
“Washington University requires the Counselor Recommendation and one Teacher Evaluation from an academic teacher in high school with whom the student has taken a course. Extra letters are not required, but if you would like to submit an additional letter, you are welcome to do so. While some students choose to submit an additional teacher recommendation, others choose to submit an extra letter of recommendation from a coach, an employer, or a member of the clergy, because that person can provide unique insights that teachers may not include.”
