Son is applying onlline using the commonapp website. With this method, there really isn't anything else required for the students to send in, since the payment is taken care of and the recs are sent in separately by the teachers and counselor. Some schools require the supplemental to be sent online as well if the common app is sent online.
So how do students usually submit extra information, such as an activity list or other material? Do they send it snail mail? It seems weird to complete this whole thing online, and then to send a one page activity list by mail.
Or is that just how it's done?

At my school everything else is sent in one packet by the school. Activites list, school profile, transcript, recs, and anything else you want to send them.

Sounds like a good way to go, but what it your school only sends the schools part. Recs are sent separately by the teachers, students submit their app, and the school sends sealed transcript, profile and counselor rec.
Has anyone else sent in an extra sheet after they have submitted their app and supplemental online?
