<p>also, has anyone had any experience with buying their own bed lifters? did they fit okay or do you HAVE to use columbia's if you want to raise your bed?</p>

<p>Actually, the 4-digit zip code extension means that it goes to <em>YOU</em> specifically at Columbia. Another student will have a different extension. </p>
<p>I discovered this right now as I have to do an envelope over that I just did because I put MY own extension on an envelope that I'm sending to someone ELSE at Columbia right now. Good thing I thought to check before I sent it out.</p>
<p>You don't need to write Columbia on them.</p>
<p>Bed lifters from Bed, Bath and Beyond worked fine, so I assume others would as well.</p>
