I’m a U.S. citizen and had lived in the U.S. my whole life up until about 2 years ago. I’ll be applying to colleges in the fall, to qualify for in-state tuition for some of the schools I’m applying to in the state I used to live in. Is it okay if I were to put my home address that is in that state or is that not eligible?
You need to use the address where you are currently residing.
If you use an address in the state where you lived two years ago, how explain that you are studying in a high school abroad? I think you’ll must pay as OOS.
Depending on the state, that may not be enough to qualify for in-state tuition, and certainly won’t be if the address is not a physical address that your parents own/rent with the intention to return. Regardless, for the application, your current address is where you reside now.
We still own our house back in the state
