Hi, I'm new here and wanted to introduce myself with this question. I've been going to community college for two years and I'm (hopefully) going to transfer to a four-year university in the fall. I was wondering, for those who already go to universities, how hard it was adjusting to the lifestyle? Did you settle in right away, or did it take you a while?

I went strait into a 4 year university and it took me a good week or two to adjust. I wouldn’t say it was hard, it was just a big change that took a bit of time. My friends were similar, though I would say one of them still isn’t totally adjusted after 3 years. My boyfriend went from a community college to my university and he had a lot lower adjustment time since he was use to living on his own and college.

I think this is something that is more about your personality than anything. Don’t stress and go with the flow.

I agree 1000% with humanoid take it one day at a time, go with the flow. Stay active and dont procrastinate. Procrastination is the killer amongst college students.
