Thing about GPA is that for the first 2 years it was graded on a weird system.

A = 98-100
A- = 94-97
B+ = 90-93
B = 87-89
B- = 83-86
C+ = 80-82
C= 76-79
C- = 73-75

And so on. Does this mean that my grades/GPA are effected negatively by this system? It seems lower, but I'm not sure what effect it actually has on my grades.

In regards to your GPA…I personally don’t think it’ll matter.

According to the UW Grading System, 3.32 is a B+ average.
While it varies on the specific class, 3.3 for most of my classes ranged from 89-92%.

Most of the courses here have a certain percentage set for 4.0., and they make it so that a drop in 1% equals a drop in 0.1 GPA.

So if a class sets 95% as 4.0., then 94%=3.9, 93%=3.8…
If a class sets 98% as 4.0., then 97%=3.9, 96%=3.8…

It really depends on the professor, but I haven’t seen anything too extreme. That being said, I think that your 3.3 and 90% range isn’t too far off (wouldn’t call that too weird). Also, you probably weren’t the only student graded that way…
