What are my chances?

Hello, I would like some opinions on what my chances of getting into UW-Seattle are:

UW: 3.69 ( up to end of junior year) should be higher if my senior courses were calculated
Weighted: 3.97
SAT: 1750 ( 580 CR, 630 M, 540 W)
Class rank: 58/479 (calculated up to the end of junior year) should be higher with senior courses; top 12%
EC: participated in high school swimming for 4 years, Red Cross volunteer 3 years, Key Club volunteer 3 years, attended a medicine and healthcare conference for 1 week this summer, succesfully auditioned intodistrict honor band, placed 3rd at solo & ensemble at the district level (clarinet), participated in band leadership 3 years, helped out with band related volunteering activities, played the piano for 6 years

In state resident; asian

My UW gpa is not the best because of my freshman and sophomore year ( average 3.55 gpa), but my junior year I cranked out a 4.0 UW gpa taking 4 AP classes ( AP chem, AP calc AB, AP lang, and AP US History). My senior year I am taking 5 AP classes ( AP physics, AP calc BC, AP comparative lit, AP comparative government, and AP Chinese and ended with a 3.9 UW gpa first semester.

In total, I have taken 10 AP classes throughout my 4 years and my cum gpa has shown an increasing positive trend despite taking more and more AP classes each year.

It would be nice if I had some honest feedback, thanks!

Pros: 3.69 GPA w/ lot APs, Music ECs
Neutral: Other ECs
Cons: 1750 SAT

From my perspective it looks like a lot of good things and a bad SAT score. One bad thing won’t hurt your application. You’ll most likely get in.

TL;DR I think you can count on seeing that purple envelope in your mail box in a few days

Thank you for your feedback, hitachiota!

you’re in. your one bad thing is the SAT, which is one of the least important things in UW admissions, from what i hear.

^ How can you say that OP is “in”?

Below average SAT (barely), below average gpa (although this is buoyed by the course rigor, so probably neutral or positive), and then some pretty typical EC’s (neutral).

I mean I think you’ll get in just because UW isn’t all that competitive, but let’s not get carried away. I think UW is a solid match school for you, maybe 65-70% chance you get in, assuming essays are up to par.

Thanks for your feedback! I just wanted to say that I recieved the gold envelope today! I’m pretty excited
