Admission Chances?

Hi Carls!

I’m looking at applying to Carleton for the Jan ED II. My current stats are

ACT 31 (28-English, 31-Math, 32-Reading, 33-Science)
Taking the ACT one last time this fall, expecting no more then a 1 or 2 point improvement

GPA (9-12) (Calculating with first semester of senior year)
Weighted - 3.8
Unweighted- 3.7

I’m male, white, middle class, at a smallish public school. I intend to major in physics

A contender for sure. Where are you from?

Focus on those essays and show why you would be an addition to the school.

I’m from South Dakota, Also forgot to mention I will be recording an Art Supplement for my application.

Good luck! I guess my only other piece of advice would be to have fun with the essays. Carleton is a serious place with smart, serious students, but it is also a place that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
