Curious about my chances

Just curious as to how selective Carleton is... What are my chances that I get in with the following stats?

Male - White - Public HS - Minnesota

32 ACT, retaking it because that was lower than my practice ones.

GPAuw = 3.941 (School doesn't weight them)
Class rank 23/551

Honors/AP classes
9th Grade:
Honors English, Honors Earth Science, Honors Geometry, and Honors Government
10th Grade:
AP US History (4), Honors Lit, Honors Biology, Honors Algebra 2
11th Grade:
AP Euro, AP Language/Composition, Honors Chem, Honors Pre-calc
12th Grade:
AP Calculus BC, CIS Spanish 5, Post-Secondary at University of Minnesota Twin Cities for Social Studies, English, and Physics

Extra-Curriculars

Debate State Semifinalist 11, doing it again next year
Tae Kwon Do since 4th Grade, 2nd Degree Adult Black Belt
Teach Tae Kwon Do for 4 hours a week since half way through 7th Grade
American Invitational Mathematics Exam taken 11th Grade
Marching Band 10, 11, 12
^ Section Leader 11, 12

Haven't calculated it, but a ton of community service (including Eagle Project, NHS service hours (30+ a semester), LINC Leadership, Math/Spanish tutoring)
Spanish National Honor Society 10, 11, 12

Didn't spend much time thinking about ECs, there's probably a few more that I forgot about that I will catch on my application.

Your GPA and ACT are in range, and AIME stands out. A decent score on that (2/3+?) would make it even better. Other than that make sure you elaborate on why you like Carleton and what attracts you (if you are a prospective Physics major, that could be it – Carleton’s physics department is quite exceptional). Are you a gap year student?

If Carleton is “the one” consider applying ED next year…
I have 2 sons who had pretty similar stats give or take. #1 was sure he wanted Carleton and got in ED. He will graduate in a few months and has had a wonderful experience there.

2 was not certain which school was his first choice. He applied last year and was rejected. Of course it is disappointing but, he received several other offers and seems quite happy with his choice.

The upshot of this is it’s hard to predict. You have a fine record. If you know for sure what you want, go with ED; otherwise I’m sure you will have at least one good choice available to you even if it is not your first.
