Has anyone from NJ heard back yet? If not does anyone know when? Thanks!

end of January. last year it was the 29th. sorry.

aek525, that is, if you’re asking about Fall 2014 decisions.

No one from any state has heard back yet. UMD isn’t like Rutgers in giving out decisions.

UMD has not even correlated admissions material yet. The website said the admissions data will be matched no later than November 22 and you are looking for an admissions decision? RELAX.

@bonee26 Haha just wondering man, don’t need to freak out

No freak! I wish UMD was like UIUC. UIUC you apply priority by Nov. 1 and you get your results online Dec. 13 at noon. SIMPLE

^Rolling admissions is better. I applied at Rutgers after the early action deadline and got a decision in 10 days.

So nicee

Jibler rolling admissions is nice to get an admissions decision early but in retrospect that is why Rutgers accepts 62% of applicants and slips to selective status whereas UMD is more selective and accepts 46%.

Rolling admissions is sort of deceptive at some schools because they send an acceptance letter early but you still have to wait for information about scholarships

I was only commenting on admission notification, not acceptance rate. UIUC also has around a 60% acceptance rate, so does that mean anything?

All are great schools no matter the differences in acceptance rates, though I prefer UMD and UIUC.
