Admission for seniors

Hi guys, ma name is Evan, a senior this year. I go to SPHI in Jakarta, Indonesia, and you can look it up if you want for sure. Main thing here I wanna discuss is that I want to apply to American Universities. Those I am considering are Georgetown university, Uni of Michigan, and Boston college. I am doin IBand the socre is just middle 30s. Currently, I am takin SAT 1, no SAT 2, and the SAT 1 score is about 2200. I am takin Toefl coz im an Asian. Would it be possible to get in to these universities? I know its challengin, but life is adventure. My previous admission is an graduate from Michigan and she said its really competent to study in Michigan. Personally, I wanna go to Michigan or Georgetown.

Guys, honestly, would it be possible to get into one of these?
I want to major education and international relations: double major.

ALso, I am an athlete in football and basketball team.
Additional Q is that how did you deal with sending Sat score in October for the Early action?
How does it take to send toefl and SAT socre?
Should I fill out the Common Application, which I read would be applied to every single Uni in the US?
Give me your accounts of your experiences or your being in these Uni.

Thx guys. Sned me email if you want: kkumedic@****

First of all, wrong box! You should go to " College Admissions" or “What are my chances” to ask such questions like these

Second, are you applying for any financial aid? Also, Georgetown requires 3 subject tests. You must take SAT2 if you want to apply to UMichigan

Third, we cannot chance you without specific information: SAT scores, GPA, Class Rank, Awards, ECs list,…

Please go to the “College Admissions” box for more informations.

I wonder coz look it up, it does not say it.
Thank you.

Sorry, i meant “You must take SAT 2 if you want to apply to Georgetown” @Rockinmj‌

YES, I definitely understand what you mean, BUT, this website tells me I do not have to take SAT 2 to apply to Georgetown. Look it up, plz… omg…

@Rockinmj‌ - According to http://uadmissions.georgetown.edu/firstyear/preparation#TestRequirements</a>, 3 subject tests are strongly recommended. Generally speaking, if a college “strongly recommends” them, you should take them. Please don’t criticize @Phongtheha‌ without doing research on each college’s website.

Sorry if I look like so, but there are so many websites that hav different views. Also, SAT I is really required which I do now and hav high score, but I do not know if I gotta do it coz I am doin IB. also, I only am gonna apply to uni in this EA. So, I technically hav no time for it. Thank ya all, and plz take a look at different websites, coz if you go in to the website it says not required. Plus, 3 SAT 2?, lol mostly students take just 2 tests mostly and get in to skwl. Additionally, it tells me that you did not even go to the website I mentioned above, so take a look mate!

You should post this in the “chances?” Category. You’ll get more advice there. Because you’re an international student, it’s a little but harder to get into American universities. What is your major? Most colleges would like it if you took SAT 2 for the subjects your major encompasses. Same goes for extracurriculars.
Nonetheless, good luck!

Do you have extenuating circumstances that prevent you from taking the three SAT subject tests? You could always sign up for the October test. Once again, the 3 SAT subject tests are strongly recommended. Considering you are an international applicant, you already have a lower acceptance rate than domestic applicants. If you are really serious about Georgetown, it is best that you treat this strong recommendation as a requirement and just take the tests.
