Georgetown SFS SAT II's

I have 2 good subject tests, but my third is HORRIBLE...extremely horrible, will this really lower my chances of getting in? if so, should I try to retake it in January?

bump.............

I'm going for the College and my Math SAT II score is absolutely atrocious, so here's hoping they're willing to overlook it.

also in the same boat applying to SFS, except all 3 of mine were terrible (as in 500s, haha). I doubt it will substantially lower your chances if just one was bad. I wouldn't bother retaking it if I were you. Me, however... I doubt I'll get in anyways, but oh well. I know my friend who is attending Georgetown right now also had "lousy" SAT subject test scores, but I dunno how bad they were. So it isn't going to be an automatic rejection because of it.

to bashi:
just to let you know
i got 660 us
640 math 2
and 600 chem, 600 world
and i still got into georgetown EA.
shows u that test scores arent everything, especially sat subjects considering i got into georgetown SFS EA
=]
dont trip!

Nice, the 2 of mine are a little more than those, but the crappy one is in the low 500's! My grades are not too good. Although, my cousin is a big time professor in the SFS, he's friends with the adcoms. hopefully his letter of rec will help.

any others thoughts?

I had good grades, 2 very good SAT II's, and then one 580 and I still got into SFS EA.

huutuyet, scores may not be everything, but not all of us are Vietnamese refugees. that's slightly more of a hook than being a white female from South Florida.
