Admission Movie!

When I was on the plane from London to Hong Kong, I watched the movie Admission. Even though it is about applying to Princeton, I thought that I could really relate to it, since I applied to boarding schools last school year. It also gave me an interesting look into the admissions process of the admission officers.

For those who have watched it (or want to watch it), what are your opinions?

I watched it! I’m applying to bs this year so I thought it would be fun to see.

I thought it was a good movie. I enjoyed seeing the mention of boarding school names, since a few years ago I would not have known those names. It was interesting how the students appeared in front of the admissions committee as they were reviewing the applications.

Stupid movie…typical Hollywood…

^Agreed. Alot of the stuff is probably not a real representation of the admissions committee. lol everyone knows you have to have a life story to get into those schools. Common misconceptions with people on CC is that you need a 4.0, 20 clubs, awards, and to be black to ever go to princeton/harvard.
