I still have nothing at my house either - and I’m in virginia. I’m just bracing myself for the worst.

freshman: I know that some students in my daughters school, here in Maryland, all ready received acceptance letters. It’s interesting that you received that information about your application. Sounds promising for you.

ditto at my school in md people have heard both good and bad news. i’ve heard neither…

So far, people I know from all over the alphabet (M, J, C, F) have all heard acceptance through email. We’re in the city of Chicago.

son rejected today in Pennsylvania. Congrats to all who were accepted.

congrats to all who got accepted. my D was rejected yesterday by mail. a sad day for us… we are in long island

@Incomingfreshmen: I live in Maryland and some of my my classmates have been accepted via email and snail mail. Soo… :/.

I called today and they said they have sent out all decisions last Wednesday-Friday. then I was like… “I live pretty close, it only takes a day to get here” and then she was like “Oh, well, it should come this week or next week”. Maybe I should’ve given my name.

I hate to even ask, but did anyone receive an ACCEPTANCE today? I’m only hearing about rejections in the last 24 hours. That added to the absence of an email in my case has me quite worried. Although I’ve already been admitted to three schools, I was really counting on this one!

I still haven’t heard anything either, and I’m in Chicago.

I was thinking that AU wasn’t going to be a problem for me to get into, but now I’m feeling unsure. I hate this waiting. Tons of people from my school have heard already!

I live in Virginia, and I am yet to hear, but I am guessing that I am rejected.

Just so you guys know, I talked to an admissions lady today and she said that MOST people do not receive an email. It’s nothing to worry about. Also, she said that applications were still being sent out YESTERDAY. I’m in PA and I didn’t receive anything yet but practically everybody in my area received an acceptance by mail or email. I’m so tired of waiting!

I was going to email my admission representative to ask, but I am trying my hardest not to think about it - because I would not accomplish my work at all.

Does a Financial Aid Information link under Personalized Links in my portal mean I got in? I remember the woman I interviewed with mentioning something about it, but I don’t recall what she said.

No word either way here in Southern California for my daughter.

I just got off the phone with Admissions and the gal that spoke with me told that the last batch of letters were sent on Monday. All is out of their office at this time and enroute. They were testing the email concept this year, not all students were intended to receive them. I shared that there has been lots of confusion and concern over that. She understood. She said the letters send on Monday included the full range…accepts and rejects. Merit and no merit.

Just got off the phone with admissions. They said the remaining letters are going out end ot the week.

Sure sounds like they have a mixed up process. Everyone that calls admissions gets a different story.

Nothing yet again.

and yeah, does seem like everyone’s getting something different. This is really frustrating.

edit: my mom just called and they said they sent them out Monday too :/

Maybe they really did mail them Monday and the ‘end of the week’ story is to cover for the USPS time to deliver?

All I know, and I haven’t gotten the mail yet today, is that I have one antsy kid on my hands who needs to hear something from somebody!

A. Their system is messed up … because they say different things at different times.
B. I don’t that they have sent them on Monday and are covering themselves for mail time. Because yesterday they said my decision was “pending”. Today they said it is made, and they will send it by end of week.

This is soooooooooooo stressful. Anyone with a similar story? As in pending decision up to NOW???
