<p>In 2008 my S received an email on March 12th that good news would be coming in the mail, not sure if they still do it that way two years later. Anyone out there know about 2009 admissions decisions??</p>

<p>someone had asked on the admissions facebook page when we would find out and it said - </p>
<p>“officially, all decisions are released by postal mail starting this week and continuing through April 1. Some students will also be contacted by email regarding their admissions decisions.”</p>

<p>haha - no problem, I am just as anxious for the decision to get as here as you probably are! I’m just trying not to think about it since I have a huge paper on Nepal that I need to be focusing on.</p>

<p>My friend applied to American University last year and he said he was notified by e-mail in the evening on March 12. So yes they did the e-mail in 2009 as well as in 2008. I’m very anxious too. I just want to know the decision, regardless of whether it’s an acceptance or not.</p>

<p>OakleyDarner - I heard about the phone call notification and I’ve never heard of a college doing that before to notify applicants. Was it an automated message or a live person on the phone? I’m assuming it was an acceptance?</p>
