SocalDad2: which major did he get in? My D got into the school of Business but doe not talk about any awards or scholarship. Should we wait? or decide with the other schools we have?

@SoCalDad2 - congrats on the Provost Scholarship. Its just makes me wonder now if all the big scholarships were in the letter and the rest of us may not get any merit or just a small amount. Just have to wait and see!

@Sanmom - I think you should definitely wait for the merit info. I’m assuming it should just be a few days. The letter said ‘shortly’ which is vague, of course.

@jbourne I’m beginning to think the same thing…maybe just small awards left. Wish we did EA, lots of kids got good money then. Oh well, there are other schools out there and they all find a place to be happy.

Sorry for the late response, but there are so many threads at so many different colleges . . . .

Our son was accepted into Engineering. Still nothing on the portal about need-based aid for him.

I was accepted into Engineering, and the letter said that info will be mailed out shortly, along with being published at the eCampus.

Are CC users just the cream of the crop of the students? SCU’s average gpa is listed about 3.6 across the internet, but I see mostly people above 3.8 getting in and even some higher than that being denied. With a 3.5/1950 I’m worrying about how I will stack up when I apply this December…
