I have seen UCLA and UCB's stats pages where you can see the percentage of applicants that are admitted to specific majors - I am curious if anyone here has seen this for UC Davis and/or UCSB?

If you have, can you post a link to where I can find it?

They will probably be up later in the year after all of the admissions/appeals etc. have been taken care of. It would be too hard to do it right now.

u can use statfinder to make charts that show u everything you want to know, gpa, ethnicity, type of transfer, majors, accepted vs enrolled, etc etc

thanks, that’s kinda it, but it doens’t break down by specific major - just “area of study” (ie. social sciences, life sciences, business/management/marketing, etc)

to be honest i don’t think any statistics released by UC davis would be very informative since anyone with above a 3.0 could just sign up for a TAG. The only people that dont get in are those who are either out of state or don’t meet the TAG requirements. If you’re trying to determine your chances all you need is a 3.0 and a TAG.

it does break down my specific major, i did it once, and i remember looking through a huge list, but i cant remember which choices i made lol …and if u want a hard copy you can always get a big pamphlet like thing in ur transfer center, or atleast my schools transfer center has em=/

JetForce: its actually a 2.8 for UCD TAG, so even less informative lol, and UCSB is a 2.7 i believe so why not just go for that option ben8jam, unless uve already applied and are waiting for decisions, in which case, statistics will be less than useless to you

I picked 3.0 because thats high enough to be eligible for almost all the colleges but heres a direct quote:

The minimum overall grade point average (GPA) for transferable work required for a TAG varies by college.
The College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences is 2.80. A minimum GPA of 2.90 for transferable work
is required for the College of Letters and Science and the College of Biological Sciences. The College of
Engineering’s minimum GPA for transferable work is 3.10. Students must have these GPAs at the time their
TAG is written and must maintain them throughout the remainder of their transfer work with no grade below
a “C.” See the criteria listed in Section III for specific major minimum GPAs.

my mistake, but i am applying to UCD as a Managerial Econ major so that does place me under the 2.8 category, altho i would probably start crying if i ended having to go there (or anywhere other than Cal for that matter).

For the UCLA and UCSB where did you find the acceptance rate by majors? i wanted to know how many ppl apply to certain majors and how many get in with those majors.
