admission release dates

So I was looking through the website to see when decisions are released, and according to http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/decision/ , US students like me can expect to hear anywhere between Jan 31 - March 31. Sorry if this is kind of a stupid question, but can we expect to hear pretty much any time in there, or will they release most on February 1, or some other time? I know that it used to say March 18th for US students there instead, and when I saw the new dates I was pretty excited that I might hear in as soon as three weeks. Does anyone have any idea about this?

i didn't receive my mcgill decision until the middle of april, the 17th or 18th. it was the last school i heard from.

well, I just got my decisions... so I guess it really CAN range from now until March.

An official letter confirming this decision and, if applicable, any terms or conditions will be mailed to you shortly. Please note that, if you have applied to programs handled by other admissions offices at McGill, you will receive a separate response for each program.

congratulations winst!! Are you a US student? do you mind sharing an overview of your stats?

hi winst, did your "housing status" change as well? (mine did not ;) I know that such issues as housing are handled much later, but I'm just curious. It says "Residence admissions information appears 24 hours after admissions decisions appear"..

I guess that should change in the future, we're probably one of the first applicants to get their decision.. ;)

McGill is starting a rolling admissions policy for U.S. students this year.

too late to apply, correct?

Really? If you don't mind me asking, how did you find that out?

Move to “rolling admission” for US high school applicants to reduce turnaround time for many decisions
