Do you guys think my admission to UCD will be rescinded?

I just got accepted for Psych, ~3.6 gpa, all pre-reqs done and IGETC done Fall 2012.
On my TAU I said I would take 2 classes this spring which were pre-reqs for UCLA/UCSB (Chemistry and Human Experimental Psychology)

I dropped the psyc course last week because of scheduling problems, and I want to drop the chem course by tonight or tomorrow so I can get a refund (I'm poor!). These aren't pre-reqs or GE satisfying classes for Davis according to assist.org, but will I get in trouble for dropping them since psych is an impacted major?

it doesn't seem like it should matter, but you never know...

:(

If you can’t afford those classes, how will you afford Davis? I say stick it through.

I can afford them it’s just that there’s no reason for me to be taking them since I have the pre-reqs and IGETC done for Davis already and that’s where I want to go. I wish I had just stuck with them and paid up so I wouldn’t have to worry but unfortunately I have already dropped my psyc class that was for UCSB…

Does anyone think my admission will be rescinded for this?

:/

100% Rescinded…

Just kidding. Call them up and ask. I am in the same situation as you and I called them up and ended up taking no classes for the spring. I’m sure everything will be fine, UCD isnt too anal.

haha agh, that made my blood pressure rise for a second

Did they tell you it was okay to drop your courses? bah. I want to be taking no courses for spring also. Thanks for the response!

I told them I wasn’t able to get the class I wanted and since it wasn’t IGETC or a pre-requisite class they said I could just write down a reasonable reason on my academic update.

(For my application I put 1 class for spring as planned)
