my son got a small envelope today too…not his top and already into Williams so I’m not going to text him…bad news can always wait …of course I want to open it but WILL NOT!
Back to work!

Waitlisted. I feel like dying.

Daughter’s small envelope turned out to contain a wait list offer. Likely to decline said offer, but it feels better than a flat rejection.

Waitlisted :-(

I’m out of town at the moment, although hearing that the person watching our house received the envelope. Have yet to hear whether it’s big or small, or what it says… I never received an email though… Any idea why this might be?

Decision emails just go to
International applicants.

Okay, that clears that up a little. Good to know.

Waitlisted. Kinda bummed but it wasn’t my first choice at least. Congrats to those who were accepted!

Rejected. Oh well, I got into one of my LACs, and the social vibe there seems better anyways, though the academics are a bit lower.

Waitlisted… T_T seems like they put lots of ppl onto the waitlist, but few of them really get accepted later on… Congrats to those who got accepted though! :)

Thankful for big envelope:)

I got my wait list today. I’m going to request to be removed from the wait list, though, because I was accepted to Swarthmore on Saturday, so I’m happy with that!! Good luck to everyone still waiting. Seems like a lot of wait list and rejections; very interesting.

Waitlisted
Oh well, I’m glad they didn’t totally reject me. It was a pretty high reach for me. It’s still a great school, and I’m happy for everyone who got in!

Got a huge FedEx envelope in the mail (way earlier than expected, actually) and burst into tears. I’ve been dreaming of Bowdoin since like 3rd grade, and will definitely end up there unless Middlebury or Dartmouth come through. Sorry to everyone feeling the pain of wait list or rejection, I feel for you.

Waitlisted. Admitted to Wesleyan and Oberlin.

What are all of your stats? I got rejected but on Naviance my stats were higher than the averages from my school so I don’t know if it was overqualification or if I just wasn’t smart enough :/

The form letters they send in the small envelopes tell the truth. You’re all outstanding candidates. Who knows what nuance tipped the scales? No reason to be downhearted.
