does anyone know when Bowodin will be releasing decisions this year? After looking around a bit, it seems like last yearr they sent them snail mail around the 27th. Any confirmation that it’ll be the same?

An article on their website said that they were aiming to mail letters on March 25th.

yup, march 25th. meaning that in two weeks from now we should all already know!!!
AHHH!!

Do they send out an email with the decision, or is it strictly by snail mail?

snail mail i think. ONE MORE WEEK!!

i called the admissions office and the lady said that she “cant tell me the exact date, i’m just going to have to wait”
…grrrrr!

They have a lot of work to do! Deep breaths.
I’m not trying to be obnoxious, but they probably wish they knew exactly when it’ll be over, too. It’ll be here before we know it…it just won’t seem that way until afterwards!

I’m an international student in the ME. I don’t know how long it would take for mail to reach here… anyone have an guesses to when I might find out?

Bowdoin apparently uses Air Mail (according to an admissions officer; I asked) to send decision packages to international students. This, happily, is much faster than the standard option (shipping)-- taking only 5 or so working days instead of weeks (or so says the USPS). I expect that, even in the middle east, you won’t have to have to wait much more than 12 days, tops-- and possibly even no more than a week.

If the prospect of waiting an extra week seems unbearable to you, then you may also request your decision to be emailed to you (an option available to internationals, the same admissions officer informs me)-- contact your area counselor at Bowdoin for more information.

they’re mailing letters tomorrow, it’s on their website. good luck guys
