What are my chances of getting into rutgers New Brunswick school of arts and sciences.
I go to a private school and I am a nj resident. I am a white male.
Gpa: 3.0
Sat:1740
Math:590
Reading:620
Writing:530
I also have taken honors and ap classes throughout highschool

I’d say you have a great shot- good luck!

I got accepted. Got my results back really quickly too which is nice. Anybody know about how they tell you if you are accepted into honors college? Does it tell you with the decision or will it come later?

Is it a bad sign if I still haven’t gotten accepted, I applied early action

@Njrutgershopeful when you say early action, what date does that equate to?

October 29th @maniactango

@Njrutgershopeful err…if your application’s complete, then it kinda is a bad sign what were your stats? and I’m correct in assuming you’re from NJ, right?

3.0 gpa
1740 sat
Private school with honors and ap classes, and I am in nj, but my application was delayed for a mistake on the application @maniactango

once again assuming you applied to new brunswick, you should get into arts and science; bus, eng, and pharm wil lall be reach. since you have lower stats, it will probably take longer for your application, hopfefully you did not have highly noticeable errors in your essay. but have patience and good luck! @Njrutgershopeful

@Njrutgershopeful You’ll hear back before January 31st. No it isnt bad you havent heard back yet, although Rutgers has early and regular action, they randomly choose from either applicant pool and make decisions. So their decisons come out randomly, but early action applicants definitely will have a decision by jan 31. Even kids with high stats sometimes hear back in Jan/Feb because it is so random.

@Juggerz Honors college comes later usually late January or early February.
