Admission Revoked Over Two Credits

I just would like to know if this happened to anyone else. So short background, I applied to be a transfer student for this Fall 2012. I got accepted with provisional admission. I signed up for Student Orientation and figured out my financial aid, so I thought I had everything squared away. I called on Monday because the status of my application on GET appeared as incomplete. They explained that my transcripts just needed to be looked at. So I check GET today and my application shows as complete. Then I get an e-mail saying that I do not meet the eligibility requirements and I should not plan to attend orientation because they will not be able to accommodate me. Therefore I call and I'm told I have only 58 of the necessary 60 credits. Is this even possible??

Yes because they require 60. It’s a bit irrational but they can say we told you these are the requirements and you didn’t meet them. I suggest you go see them and have a super plan worked out (i.e. how to make up those units by the time you start, if possible). Start climbing the red tape latter until you find someone who can help you
