Provisional Transfer Student -- Possible Fail

I plan to attend CSULB this fall; I've confirmed my admission, RSVP'd attendance for SOAR & EOP orientations, and applied for housing...HOWEVER, I may not have passed my Statistics course this semester. It is not required for my major, but it is a G.E. course. Do you think it's possible:

1.) I'll be allowed to reattempt this summer?
2.) Reattempt it at their school?
3.) Be rejected altogether?

A friend of mine somehow transferred without taking a 200-level math course, so I thought maybe it varies case-by-case. Has anyone heard or known of someone in a similar position and how the school has handled it? I appreciate any insight on this since I'm very stressed awaiting my grade. Thank you.

When is your due date to submit official transcripts?

If you can re-take the course and pass before the due date I don’t see how CSULB could deny you admission. Technically you will be meeting the requirement. If you’re are denied admission I would appeal the decision.

With that said: If you cannot reattempt this summer then the outlook of attending this fall, in my opinion, is pretty slim. I applied to CSULB for fall 2012 and was denied admission for not meeting the transfer level math requirement. I also applied to CSUDH were I was accepted - that is until I submitted my official transcripts. At CSUDH had I met with the department advisor, planned all the courses I needed to take, paid tuition and enrolled in 15 units. Then I got an email saying my admission was revoked. So my thinking is if CSUDH revoked my admission CSULB will more than likely revoke yours.
