Out of curiosity, did anyone else receive a weird online survey from Princeton asking about why you applied and what other schools you got in?

Apparently it's for making the admission process better in the future, but some of the questions still make me rather uncomfortable.

Any other lucky people out there?

I got that too. I did one for UChicago about a week ago so I figured I should do Princeton's as well since I'm matriculating there.

I got it too, and I did it a little while ago.
Really, it's not that bad and not that long.

And I really feel soooo special! ;)

I wonder if they just tell all of us that we are part of the chosen few to motivate us to complete the survey...or...perhaps I'm just a paranoid conspiracy theorist. Could be either one.

i got the email too and it made me feel rather special for a day lol

I'm not sure exactly how many people receive it, but I'd assume it's quite a few (myself included).

In any case, you should really make an effort to complete it thoroughly, truthfully, and thoughtfully. These surveys are instrumental in helping the admissions office improve its policies and practices, which in turn improves the university.

I got it, I haven't gotten around to doing it yet. I didn't do any of the other admitted student surveys that I got from other places, so maybe I'll just forget about this one too...

I got a similar one from UChicago and after getting one page done and seeing tons of boxes to check, I was life w t f and quit. Maybe I'll do this one.
