Admission to Indiana University Bloomington

For fall 2019, my top choice for college is by far IU. How are my admissions chances?
-ACT: 26,26,27 (28 Superscore, however, since IU super scores)I also am taking it once more
-1140 SAT, took once and not planning on taking it again
-3.2 Unweighted GPA, 3.61 Weighted(16 Honors classes and 1 AP)

By the end of High school I’ll have 2 varsity letters in basketball and 1 from Track and Field, I’ve also involved my self in multiple clubs that I’ve stayed committed too
I plan to apply early action by November 1st, however I can wait to apply for regular decision and use my first semester grades for senior year, which could raise my GPA to 3.3 unweighted and 3.8 weighted
Just wanted the opinion of others about this, thank you to all who read this

What are you wanting to major in? General admission to the University would seem like you have a good chance but you may not be a direct admit to the major you want.

Definitely apply by November 1. If they want to see your first semester grades, they can always ask, but I think you have a good chance of getting in.

Indiana University is a great school that seemingly has something for everyone. Easy to understand why it is your first choice school. Be sure to apply early as IU uses rolling admissions–so first to apply, almost always get first admission decision.
