Admission to UT Arlington

My gpa is 2.85 and SAT 1640. I only did the last three years of high school and didnt go to school since the fourth grade. First year (9th grade) of high school, i got a 3.1. Second year sucked, i got a girlfriend(first one). And the last year I got a 3.14 again.

ALSO ,i did badly in dual-credit. 2 A's, 2 C's, 1 D, and last but not least 4 F's. The last four F's were in a semester, in which I was absent in almost all the classes. Im in the process of withdrawing from the last four classes, so they might be not counted as F's.

I want to know if I could be admitted to UT arlington, and if having a ****ed up transcript in a community college as a dual credit student will affect my admission. I also want some advice on how I can use my huge, disgusting absence from the school system in my admission form. And yes catching up was ass.

I don’t think UT Arlington really rejects anyone.

Can you be more specific?
And also can you help me get more traffic in here, or ask people to answer my question?

While you’re in the middle SAT range for UT Arlington and they accept 70% of applicants, so you look good on that front. However, something like 85% of the UT Arlington population was in the top 50% of their highschool. They do care about GPA; 4 F’s in college classes will hurt you. If you can withdraw from those classes or at least come up with a darn good excuse for the absences, you should get in very easily. If you don’t take care of it, you still have a decent shot.

Any idea where you stand in your class? Are you top 50%?

Thanks for the reply.
Well i had to work due to my father being absent, so i couldnt make it to the classes. I dont know how i would tell them that. Im trying but i might not be able to withdraw, I have a meeting with the dean on Tuesday.

And I went to a non-ranking school.
