<p>Check the individual college's web site under internationalstudents admission requirements. Usually they list the equivalent to sat's that they will accept.</p>
<p>Is GCE from the UK like A levels and O levels? I think she will still need to take the SAT or ACT if this is what you're talking about, but ask the schools, of course.</p>

From this list, your friend can link directly to the websites of individual programs to find out more specifics such as sites for clinical rotations. Nursing programs have been challenged to recruit and maintain faculty, so that is one area to investigate along with the location for clinical rotations (academic medical centers sometimes provide better experiences than small community hospitals). </p>
<p>You are still required to take both SATs and SAT IIs where applicable if you have GCSEs/A-Levels. I also study under the British system so I do know that =P</p>

And at my school, a lot of people send their TOEFL scores rather than SATs so if she's international, SATs/ACTs aren't compulsory..</p>
