So we’ve submitted FAFSA and CSS. Do schools start preparing FA packages even if you are not admitted ? Will they ask you for additional info if you have not been admitted ? Just curious because one school s asking for clarification on the FAFSA and CSS and yet we are still waiting for admission results.

It seems that a school would not waste resources until admission had been decided.

They don’t necessarily “start preparing FA packages,” but they do want to confirm that they have all necessary info so that it’s readily available if and when it becomes necessary to prepare a FA package.
