Do most colleges provide a financial aid package for all students, or just those accepted?
For instance, do emails regarding additional papers for financial aid from an institution give any indication of acceptance?
This may seem tedious or futile, but it’s just a thought running through my mind as I scramble for the rest of their needed materials. Any help to ease would be appreciated. Thanks!
Often the two offices, admissions and FA, work totally independently and one doesn’t know what the other is doing, so it is possible to get requests from the FA office and not be admitted. FA offices can’t give a package until the spring when taxes are filed, FAFSA filed, documents received.
@twoinanddone thanks!
I figured as much. It was just a hope. haha I know they are mostly independent of each other, but it crossed my mind that perhaps I could see it as a glimmer of hope.
The FA office doesn’t know who is going to be accepted usually but they have to have the packages ready for the letters to go out.
