I have heard many applicants and parents state they are hesitant to call admissions to ask their questions, as they do not want to be a pest or to appear over-eager. I contacted someone I know in admissions and this is the response I received:

We do NOT consider candidates who ask questions to be pests. We would
rather they call us and get the correct information rather than relying
on hearsay or rumor. I like persistent candidates who are respectful
and truthfully it helps to know that the candidate is truly invested in
the process. I always tell parents "it is not that I don't want to talk
to you, and I know it is tough for the students to call during the day,
but we want to know that they (the candidates) are the ones driving the
bus".
We are also happy to reply to email and try to respond w/in 24 hours.
We know that they (the candidates) are creatures of the night so will
have questions sometimes at 11:00 pm. If it is something really
important, I will call the parents during the day.

Please dispel any thoughts about bothering us.
That is what we are here for, to help with the process.
We know that this year there are even more challenges due to our new
online process.
