<p>Yes ,this makes sense.Yale is looking for the so called ''cultural diversity''.Yale cannot accept international students only from India ,China and Asia in general,although they have the highest scores.The college would also accept a kid from lets say Nigeria,a good looking girl from Venezuela and a rich Arabian kid ;]</p>
<p>I don't know, ever since Levin became a president, more and more russians are being admitted to Yale. I assume Levin has a russian background.</p>
