admissions blunder

i applied to rutgers and got in. problem is i had to pick a school so i picked one and clicked submit. the thing is i didn't realize that this is if u decided to go to rutgers. i don't want to go to rutgers. do i have to go because i clicked a submit button? or do i intend to go when i send them money and signatures?

Is it a general rolling admission? If that is the case, once you are accepted you will have a response list of to do items........don't agree to matriculate. You might also tell them you aren't planning to attend. Don't send in housing forms etc. etc.

yeah it is rolling admissions. i was just worried that i picked a particular college at rutgers and clicked submit that i was going to have to go there. that's a relief, though, knowing that i won't.

anyone have anything to add?

any other opinions

Just call up Rutgers and talk to them about your problem. We -- anonymous strangers with no inside knowledge of Rutgers-- can't help you as much as Rutgers adcoms can.
