Admissions Board for National Pool after Qualification?

Hello all,
I was just wondering if the Admissions Board reevaluates grades (once received for the first semester of senior year) and the candidate file, once again, AFTER they have already deemed a candidate scholastically qualified. Would they do so only if the candidate goes into the national pool of applicants (granted he/she has an unused nomination)?
Or once you are deemed scholastically qualified, they do not look at your file again and simply base everything on the WCS they gave you initially - regardless of new grades being issued?
I am sorry if this question seems unclear, if you need me to restate it, please tell me to do so. Thank you all in advance for your words of wisdom!

Dear hair net,
As a BGO I've heard time and time again that grades will always matter. There have been cases where appointments have been recinded based upon poor academic performance or for behavior that can be perceived as "unbecoming of a future military officer."
I don't know what you mean by a "national pool"?? Once your application is complete you are brought before the selection board and deemed as qualified (or not). This really has no bearing on receiving a nomination.

Hope this clarifies some of your question.
Best of Luck on your application process.

Are you asking if your first semester grades can improve your WCS?

Let me clarify my question and put it into context.

My daughter reciently heard that she was triple qualified, nomination included. However, if she does not got the appointment from her nominating source, as they can only have 1 per slot of 10, and her application goes into the national pool, will the Admissions Board review her file again? Will they reevaluate her first semester grades, along with all of the other applicant's grades, when deciding who gets an appointment?

In short: will the Admissions Board look over newly sent first semester grades after they have deemed someone scholastically qualified (and currently without an appointment) to adjust a WCS?

I can't seem to get my question down, I apologize!

Have your daughter continue to update her admissions file with significant information - each time something is significant is added her WCS will be adjusted.

Go ahead and send in the first semester grade along with any new achievements, i.e. honor roll, winter/spring team captain, etc......

What about after the appointment is already offered, and accepted? Will they want the first semester grades. The offer of appointment letter, and the accompanying forms/information, don't specifically say to submit them, but the acceptance form does say that the appointment could be withdrawn for failure to maintain satisfactory academic, moral or conduct standards.
